Only 11 permissions has been handed out, so in contrast to Florida Keys or Key Largo where you can find hundreds of charters and guides, only 11 different charter companies are able to take you out on a daily experience you will never forget. The Dry Tortugas just about 70 miles outside of Key West is a one in a life-time experience for a normal tourist or a hobby fisher.
